Talk about your problems
This will help you to put it into perspective. Explaining the situation to
someone else usually makes things clearer, including the solution!
If someone is irritating you, have it out instead of bottling it up. Remember to
be assertive, though, avoiding aggression and remaining calm, respectful of
the others rights, and unemotional. Most people don’t go out of their way to
annoy others deliberately, and if they become aware of your irritation, they’ll
probably make an effort to stop doing whatever it is.
Close friends will be supportive, whether it’s a shoulder to cry on or just a
listening post that you need.
Be Honest
Being honest, means being honest with other people and with yourself.
Trying to be somebody or something that you are not will build stress. Accept
what you are, and learn to like yourself. Nobody’s perfect, so allow yourself to
be imperfect. This is a sure safeguard against stress.
If there are things about yourself that you don’t like,
change them if they can be changed. If they can’t be
changed, accept them. For every imperfection, you
have an area of excellence!
